How RO Wallet works

In four simple steps, manage your documents and present them securely. Once it's set up, you use it whenever you need to prove something about yourself - online or in person.

The application will be published in the stores at the official launch.

Four steps, full control

Download the app
Install the official RO Wallet app on your phone as soon as it's available. The app is free and official; you'll find it in the app stores, published by the wallet provider.
Verify your identity
Confirm your identity once, through a secure onboarding process, using your electronic identity card. This is the only time you go through this step: after onboarding, your digital identity is ready to use.
Add your documents
Bring your ID, driving licence, diplomas and other digital documents into your wallet, straight from the institutions that issue them. You add only the documents you want, when you want - nothing lands in the wallet without your consent.
Share only what's needed
For each request you choose what to reveal, in person or online, with your consent. For example, prove you're over 18 or that you're a pensioner without giving away your date of birth. The service gets a verifiable yes-or-no answer, but not the other details on the document. That way you prove what's needed without revealing more.

The project's source code and technical reference framework will always be public. Open code means anyone can check how the wallet works and how your data is protected - nothing happens in a black box.
